Coast To City: IndiRock x City Bouldering

Two gyms.

Two cities.

One unmissable comp.

IndiRock and City Bouldering Stratford are teaming up to bring you Coast to City, a brand-new competition set to light up the South East climbing scene.

It all kicks off Saturday 6th June with qualifiers by the sea at IndiRock, before heading to London for Round Two and an electrifying finals on Saturday 13th June at City Bouldering Stratford.

The Format:

• For each qualifying round we will be setting a core of 20 blocs, with an additional 5 blocs for adults and 5 blocs for youth. So a total of 30 qualifier blocs on each date - 60 amazing blocs in total!
• To qualify for finals you must compete at both qualifying rounds.
• Your scores will be totalled together, and the top 6 scorers from the Youth Girls & Boys, and Adult Women & Men will compete in the finals.

• 12-3pm - Mixed Youth and Adult qualifiers
• 3-6pm - Adult focused qualifiers with a DJ (youth welcome)

Qualis @ City Bouldering Stratford, London

• Saturday 13th June
• 8:30-11:30am - Youth Qualifiers
• 12:30-2:15pm - Youth Finals
• 3-6pm - Adult Qualifiers
• 7-9:15pm - Adult finals

To qualify for finals you must compete at both qualifying rounds.

How to Travel:

IndiRock and City Bouldering Stratford are ideally linked via train, meaning you have no need to drive!

You have a choice of train lines: either Greater Anglia, from Southend Victoria to Stratford – or C2C, from Southend Central to Stratford.

Both train lines offer an amazing 1/3 off rail fares for groups of three or more traveling together. Youth under 15 can travel for just £2 with an adult.

Prizes up for grabs

Alongside Tenzing, who will have a bar giving out free drinks at the finals on 13th June, we’re excited to be joined by sponsors Rays Climbing and Shoe Chalk, who will be contributing prizes to our finalists and also raffle prizes – so everyone can win.

As well as the above, our gold, silver and bronze finalists will win prize bundles including Indirock and CB Bouldering merchandise, vouchers and other goodies to keep you climbing happy!
