Routes & Roots and @CM_Climbs are coming together for a special climbing social celebrating Filipino culture, community and connection.
Join us for Boulder Barkada — a Filipino-inspired climbing social in honour of Philippines Independence Day, created to bring friends and the wider climbing community together!
In Filipino culture, **barkada** means a group of friends — the people you laugh with, share food with, make memories with and welcome others into. That warmth, openness and sense of belonging are at the heart of this event.
This celebration is held in collaboration with Routes & Roots, a social that champions and creates space for People of Colour communities in climbing.
Whether you’re Filipino, connected to the culture, or simply keen to learn, climb and celebrate with us, everyone is welcome!
